Busy at work some people resign to fast food diet. Me to the bun diet. But it’s ok, the flour is organic the butter real and the baker happy. #petersyard #buns #busyatwork
First post in two months but there been no Scottish hills or beautiful mountainbiking to post… only this…plans of a new Yard.
Bye bye £9 pound pay as u go phone. Welcome back lovely beautiful intelligent phone. A day of joy! #neverwashyoursmartphone
the promised PORTFOLIO
After a particularly muddy ride in the hills my very, very dirty trousers went in the washer. Along with my phone. My smart smart phone now rests in piece after a fairly hard life. I miss him but not because I can’t call people. The one main thing i miss is his camera. It makes me feel lost managing everyday life without a snap shot here and there.
One good thing that brought with it is that I’ve taken more photos with my bestest buddy the big fat “proper” camera. That and that I found the time to play around with the promised portfolio. So here it is, my website, still echoing slightly empty but at least its found its place on the world wide web.
Cheers to that!
I don’t do new years resolutions. This year I did a 2014 mood board. Work has stopped me from doing what I want lately and I’m afraid the moodboard is slightly singleminded. Guess the theme… (answer; #hills #mtb #outdoors #mountains)
A leaving present for a fantastic barista and honoury Swede. Painted by hand like a dalahäst, well, more or less like it… the dalahäst painters got some serious skills…
Another gin, soon to join the collection of empty ones. New local gin, exciting! #nbgin #northBerwick #gin #Scotland
Portfolio coming soon…
…I can kind of promise that. It’s been my plan for a bit to get some things up properly for people to view, photos from like the wedding above - my first full day wedding in Scotland (what a shooting start). I seem to always get stuck in actually photographing or creating material for my full-time job though… which I suppose is the right priority for a photographer. Anyhow, christmas is coming which is a time known for being all about piece, quiet and portfolio making. The latter one being a new tradition.
So yes, I suppose keep an eye out here…among the random snapshots of bikes, food and weddings there might be a link to a portfolio.
A very Merry Christmas!
